When Macedon receives its event to seize territory, it will be given the choice to either release Caria as an independent ally (usually under Kassandros's brother Pleistarchos), as historically, or annex the provinces directly into Macedon[1]. If the Antigonid Kingdom decided to abandon Asia for Greece, Caria will additionally include the former Antigonid territories in Cilicia (proper), and under some circumstances might also extend to any former Antigonid territories in Milyas and Lycia. Note that when released this way, Caria will have Macedonian primary culture and Hellenic state religion like the other Hellenistic satrapies and Diadochi states, and will not include any territories already annexed into Macedon before the event fired.

The Antigonid Cause Wavers
The below description is one of several available for this event.
Antigonos' death has, combined with recent setbacks, fractured the stability of the cyclops' kingdom. His heir and co-king Demetrios, unable to hold together the expiring loyalties of his subjects, has abandoned much of the kingdom to the claims of the other Diadochi while he retreats to lick his wounds among Greek friends.
We have succeeded in laying claim to Caria and Cilicia in the carving of the kingdom's corpse. However, Pleistarchos Antipatrid has been doggedly citing his record of loyalty and the distance of the province in order to justify being appointed our satrap in Asia...
