Albion is a formable nation in Europe, representing a unification of the British Isles and the many Pretani and Gaelic tribes. Like all other western European tier 3 formables, creating Albion requires reforming from a tribe to a monarchy or republic, but distinctly requires directly owning every territory in the regions of Britannia and Caledonia, not just the major cities as with most other formables - since all the territories in the region are required, forming Albion does not give any additional claims. The tribal reformation requirement means that the more civilized tribes of southern Britannia, particularly Flag of Icenia Icenia but also tribes like 20px Trinovantia or 20px Durotriga, though Albion can be formed by any of the Pretani or Gaelic tribes in the region. The tier 2 formables in the British Isles - 20px Pretania, 20px Caledonian Confederacy, and 20px Hibernia - are also typically formed as a stepping stone towards the unification of Albion. Historically there was little cohesion or unity was achieved between the tribes of Albion outside of parts of Britannia before the Flag of Rome Roman invasions, and the British Isles would not come under a single ruler until the union of Scotland and England over a millennia and a half later.

The sceptered isle of Albion has been a haven for our people for centuries. We must aim to control it from coast to coast, uniting the disparate peoples of our land under one common identity.

Potential requirements
  • Has at least 1 territory
  • Country is in the Pretani or Gaelic culture group, or is   Parisia (Britannia)
  • Is not a Tier 3 formable
  • Is not   Albion
  • Is not AI-controlled, owns at least 60 territories, or owns at least 20 territories and is not tribal
  •   Albion does not exist
  • Is a monarchy or republic
  • Is not at war or in a civil war
  • Owns the following regions:
    • Britannia
    • Caledonia

  • Current country becomes   Albion
  • Add   4 citizen pops,   4 freemen pops, and   4 slave pops to the capital
  • Capital gets the modifier Center of Civilization until the end of the game, giving:
    •   +0.20% Local Population Growth
    •   +10% Local Civilization Level
    •   +10% Pop Assimilation Speed
    •   +10% Local Freeman Happiness
  • Get the modifier National Spirit for 7600 days (about 21 years), giving:
    •   +10 Loyalty of Characters
    •   +15% National Citizen Happiness
    •   +15% National Freeman Happiness
  • If the current government form is a monarchy and not Empire or Imperial Cult, set the government form to Empire
  • Otherwise, gain   300 political influence
  • Get   4 free province investments
