Flag of Sicily Sicily is a formable nation in southern Italy, representing a unification of the island of Sicily. It can be formed by any of the Siceliote city states or one of the remaining Siculian tribes that can manage to subjugate the Greek cities of the east under the domination of Flag of Syracusae Syracusae and push the Flag of Carthage Carthagnians out of the west, and in the case of the former is often a stepping stone towards the larger formable of Flag of Magna Graecia Magna Graecia.

Missions[edit]

With the Magna Graecia (DLC).png Magna Graecia DLC, forming Sicily as a Policy cultural assimilation.png Hellenistic culture group country will give access to some of the unique Syracusan missions, in particular those focused on driving the Flag of Carthage Carthaginians from Sicily once and for all and conquering the Italiote city states of Magna Graecia.

The decision to form Flag of Sicily Sicily is available to nations with Siceliote or Siculian culture.

The goal of uniting the island of Sicily, whilst seemingly a simple thing, has been the cause of countless lost lives. Perhaps we could be the ones to finally succeed in this task?

  • If the country is tribal, adopt the Federated Tribe government form
  • Otherwise, gain Political influence.png 150 political influence
  • Add Citizens 4 citizen pops and Freemen 4 freemen pops of the state culture and religion to the capital
  • Capital gets the modifier Emergent Capital until the end of the game, giving:
    • Global population growth.png +0.15% Local Population Growth
    • Freeman happiness +8% Local Freeman Happiness
    • Civilization.png +10% Local Civilization Level
  • Get claims on all territories in the provinces of Siculia, Sicania, and Syracuse
  • Get Province investment 2 free province investments

Form Magna Graecia

The Greeks have been present in southern Italy and Sicily for many centuries. Whilst often far removed from the macro-politics of the mainland, the region of Magna Graecia, as it was known, played an important part in the Hellenistic world.
