Selinous is a city-state in Magna Graecia.

With the Magna Graecia DLC, if Selinous forms Sicily can get access to some of the unique Syracusan missions, in particular those focused on driving the Carthaginians from Sicily once and for all and conquering the Italiote city states of Magna Graecia.
Like most other Hellenistic group countries, Selinous can also get access to two of the Greek cultural missions under certain circumstances. If Selinous conquers territory in Greece it can get the Greek cultural mission tree Pan-Hellenic Government and attempt to unite the Greek city-states into a new Hellenic League, while making conquests in the Asian, Bithynian, or Thracian region will gives access to the Euxine Sea Hellenistic cultural mission tree The Hospitable Sea, directing Selinous to expand its influence and dominate the Euxine Sea region.
Like all other countries, Selinous also has access to the Generic missions regardless of whether or not the DLC is enabled.
The goal of uniting the island of Sicily, whilst seemingly a simple thing, has been the cause of countless lost lives. Perhaps we could be the ones to finally succeed in this task?
Form Magna Graecia
The Greeks have been present in southern Italy and Sicily for many centuries. Whilst often far removed from the macro-politics of the mainland, the region of Magna Graecia, as it was known, played an important part in the Hellenistic world.
As well, as a Hellenistic culture group country, Tyndaria can form the Hellenistic Empire if it reforms into a monarchy.

Selinous begins the game as a client state of Carthage.
Selinous has a population of 20 pops at the beginning of the game. Most of its pops are Hellenic Siceliote, but some are Hellenic Siculian.
