- This article is about the country in Gaul. For the identically named country in the region of Britannia, see Parisia (Britannia).
Parisia is a local power in northern Gaul, one of the many small Gallic tribes in the region. Historically associated with the neighbouring 20px Senonia and Aeduia further to the south, they participated in the uprising of the Arvernian king Vercingtorix before coming conclusively under Roman control in 52 BC. Their capital, Lutetia, would become an important city in Roman Gaul, eventually becoming the city of Paris.
As a country in the Gallic culture group located in one of the regions of Gaul, Parisia has access to the decision to form Gaul.
The fertile land of Gaul contains many tribes and peoples, living in a prosperous, if tense, relationship. For some, this fractious existence is a sign of the old ways - instead, new methods are needed if our people are to survive in the era of civilization and empire. The task is not light, but perhaps we might be the driving force behind the unification of the Gallic people?
As well, Parisia also has the option to form Galatia if it decides to migrate into Anatolia.
While we are far from the ancestral homeland of our people this is still a good land. Let us create a new state here, and teach these local peoples about the capabilities of the Celtic peoples.
Parisia begins with a population of 39 spread over 6 territories. The majority (74%) of its population is Biturigan, but there area also a number of Sennonian pops in its eastern territories, in the Belgae culture group. All of Parisia's starting population is Druidic.
