Jainism is an Indian faith that spans back many years, to the early teachers of the religion. The Jains strongly believe in asceticism and non-violence, and have friendly relations with the other Indian traditions.
— In-game description

The Jain religion is a transtheistic faith, the pockets of which can be found throughout India. This article documents the paradigms associated with the religion. All values are for Omen.png +100% Omen Power.

As a transtheistic religion, Jain countries do not worship deities, but instead honour and focus on particular paradigms of their religion. Therefore Jain countries cannot worship deities of other religions in their pantheon, with the exception of the Hindu deities Rama and Krishna who are also honoured by the Jains. Likewise, most Jain paradigms cannot be worshipped by non-Jain countries in their pantheon even if their Holy Site.png holy sites are controlled or a significant part of the population is Jain, with the exception of the deified Jain teacher Mahavira.
