Celticia is a local power in southern Hispania, one of the larger tribes in the region and among the southernmost of the Celt-Iberian tribes. Considered one of the more civilized and settled tribes with close ties to the nearby Turdetanian and Lusitanian tribes, the Celtici historically submitted to Carthage during the Punic Wars and was subsequently conquered by Rome during their conquest of the Iberian peninsula over the course of the 2nd century BC. Incorporated into the province of Lusitania, their capital of Ebora would remain an regionally important city under Roman rule and eventually become the city of Évora.
As a country in the Celt-Iberian culture group, Celticia has access to the decision to form 20pxGreater Iberia.
